Land Use Plan

The Butler County Land Use Plan 2000 reflects the physical development opportunities and constraints inherent in the County's natural setting and existing development pattern. The Plan defines the generalized land use patterns that have occurred in Butler County to this point in time, and indicates the general direction and magnitude of new development in the future.

In effect, the Butler County Land Use Plan 2000 represents, among other things, a statement of desirable future balance within the County between types of development and is an indication of the direction in which Butler County should be moving in order to achieve balanced land use relationships. More specifically, the County's vision and efforts towards land development are organized as Goals, Objectives and Strategies.
