The Butler County Community Development Division is responsible for oversight and implementation of the Entitlement Program of Butler County, with funds made available directly through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These programs and projects are countywide and benefit the residents of all county townships, villages, the cities of Fairfield, Monroe, Oxford, Trenton and Middletown. The Butler County Community Development Division administers a Revolving Loan Fund Program which consists of affordable financing for small businesses in Butler County.

SUBMITTAL OF 2012 ACTION PLAN
The Action Plan of the Butler County Entitlement Program will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the 2012 Program Year. The 2012 Entitlement allocation has been established as $1,714,259. Projects and programs selected are to meet the intent of providing decent housing, suitable living environments, and expanded economic opportunities, principally for persons of low and moderate income throughout Butler County and the City of Middletown.
Citizen comments will be received until April 27, 2012 at the Butler County Department of Development, Community Development Division, located on the sixth floor of the Butler County Administrative Center, 130 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011.

Neighborhood Stabilization Program - Third Round of Funding Awarded to Butler County
Butler County has been awarded $1,327,123 in the third round of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP3). The NSP3 Program is funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development with the intent to stabilize neighborhoods whose viability has been, and continues to be, damaged by the economic effects of properties that have been foreclosed upon and abandoned. The funds will be distributed throughout qualifying areas of Butler County, Hamilton and Middletown in a collaborative effort to eliminate blight and sustain our neighborhoods and communities.
Public comment on the NSP3 Substantial Amendment will be received between February 11, 2011 and February 25, 2011.
